Shopping at Target is blissful. It’s clean, spacious, bright, organized and best of all affordable! It’s your one stop shop for all your household needs, whether you're shopping for clothing, groceries or toiletries; they have it in stock. The good news is that although Target is affordable to begin with, there are still many ways to save even more! Here are some tips and tricks that can help you save money when shopping at Target.

  1. Download the Target App

Sign up for a Target Circle account. There, you will be able to access coupons and any other additional savings. Target shoppers earn 1% off every one item purchased & extra bonuses and rewards. Customers also get early access to deals as well. Additionally, You can earn 5% Off as a birthday gift so make sure to submit your birthday information. 

  1. Sign up for Target Red Card

The Target Red Card can either be used as a debit card or credit card. The benefit is that every time you swipe it you will receive an extra 5% off your purchase, plus free shipping and an extra 30 days towards your return. Sign up for the Target Red Card today - it's FREE!

  1. Secret Target Sale Schedule

Target offers different promotions to their customers throughout the week. For instance on Mondays you will find deals on electronics and on Wednesdays you can save on beauty products. Make sure to check out their daily savings or promotions at Target.com

  1. Price Adjustments

If you purchased an item and within 14 days the item goes on sale, Target offers price adjustments. Make sure to bring along the item's receipt and of course proof of the lower price.

  1. Clearance Section

There are clearance sections displayed throughout the store, usually on the aisle end caps. I frequently browse the clearance section at my local target, and find deals sometimes as high as 90% off! In addition to the in-store clearance sections, Target also has an online clearance section.

Unlike many department stores, Target allows their customers to stack their coupons on their purchase. Take advantage and don't be shy to do so! This includes store coupons, rewards and other additional bonuses. 

  1. Target Black Friday & Cyber Monday

Target is famous for its Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals. On Black Friday, Target has its biggest sale of the year. This year Black Friday deals started in the beginning of November. Every week new deals are listed. You can check out their weekly deals at Target.com. Cyber Monday is one of the last times of the year to score great deals. So if you missed Black Friday, you are still in luck with Cyber Monday.

  1. Free Shipping

By Making a purchase of $35+ you are eligible for free shipping. Of course if you use the Target Red Card, you will be eligible for free Shipping without a minimum purchase. 

  1. Use Target Drive Up

Target Drive Up is probably my most favorite hack from this store. It is a free method to receive your online order. All you have to do is make a purchase using your app. It will notify you when your order will be ready. You can then drive down to the store and a representative will deliver your order to your car. Skip the line with Target Drive Up today!
